Sugar Lab claims to be the “world’s first digital baker” and is a specialist in 3D-printed confections. Recently, Sushi Roll Bonbons were introduced by Sugar Lab. This product comes in a six-piece set. It is printed with powdered sugar and filled with hojicha (a finely ground green tea powder, traditionally grown in Kyoto Japan) ganache, and tahini. Sugar Lab’s top chocolatiers combine hojicha with smooth milk chocolate. The strong umami flavor is added by the tahini.

Sugar Lab’s 3D-printed sushi confections were created by Sugar Lab designers who “painstakingly studied rice texture and delicate colors of orange, pink and white to create the perfect marbling of fresh salmon.”
