Carmel printing-services firm acquired – Inside INdiana Business

Carmel-based printing services  business UN Communications Group Inc. has been acquired by Troy, Michigan-based marketing communications firm Phoenix Innovate, the companies announced Wednesday.

The terms of Tuesday’s deal were not disclosed.

UN Communications Group, founded in 1975, operates an office-production-showroom facility of more than 30,000 square feet at 1429 Chase Court, just south of West Carmel Drive. According to Phoenix Innovate, the company will retain its name and its 40-member leadership team.

UN Communications offers digital, wide-format and commercial printing services as well as mailing services. The company produces brochures, catalogues, annual reports and banners.

“Like so many businesses today, talent and resources are paramount to serving our clients,” said Jeff Purvis, chief operating officer of UN Communications, in written comments. “Becoming part of the Phoenix Innovate family of companies exponentially increases what our team can accomplish and how we can increase our clients’ marketing (return on investment).”

Phoenix Innovate was established in 1987. It employs 150 people. The company provides strategic marketing, application development, and data analytics to clients in the manufacturing, not-for profit, health care, and education industries.
