Stratasys The launch of the new GrabCAD Print Pro Use 3D Printing Software to Prepare for Your Print RAPID+ TCT Chicago

This company, specializing in polymer 3D Printing technologies, now has quality assurance capabilities acquired through its recent acquisition by Riven. The aim is to improve accuracy and reduce waste of 3D printed components, as well as shorten the lead time of manufacturers who print at large volumes.

Expected release date: May 16Th GraCAD Print Pro, a subscription-based service for users of its FDM or SAF technologies will offer a variety of new tools.

  • The Warp Additive Mod (WAMTM), an automatic warp corrector, ensures part accuracy by 3D scanning.
  • Ability to create standardised templates for manufacturing that allow customers to build quickly and without error
  • Estimating multi-customer trays in less time.
  • Label creation, including serialization, unique coding and placement of SAF parts
  • 3D Array allows parts to be stacked on the Z axis to increase productivity and reduce build times.

“We are proud to deliver the best-in-class print preparation software package that reflects additive manufacturing’s expanding role on the factory floor,” said Rich Garrity, Chief Industrial Business Officer for Stratasys. “Our customers are increasingly expanding 3D printing implementation beyond prototyping to end-use parts production at scale, where consistent quality and process efficiency are truly essential. This new next-generation software is designed to help them achieve their current and future business goals and allow them to significantly, and rapidly scale up their additive manufacturing capabilities.”

The software will now allow qualified third-party partner plug ins to be added starting with Castor You can also find out more about the following: AlphaSTAR. AlphaSTAR provides tool path-driven analysis and quality assessment of print parameters and tool paths, as well as thermal process simulation to help improve design cycles and produce higher quality parts with fewer iterations. Castor, meanwhile, has developed a software tool that allows manufacturers assess thousands of components for additive manufacturing.

“The integration with GrabCAD Print Pro enables us to offer greater value to our customers,” said Omer Blaier, co-founder, and CEO of Castor. “Through this partnership, we enable more manufacturers to seamlessly incorporate Castor into their design and production platforms, thus identify additive manufacturing opportunities more easily. We’re excited to be part of the innovative Stratasys platform.”
