A 3D printer is available in Sons of the Forest to create a printed sled. You can use it to slide through the different environments of the game, much like the turtle shell slide from the prequel. The printed sled is now capable of replacing the turtle shell, so players need not worry about it being no longer slideable.

Sons of the Forest was the best-reviewed sequel of the year. It features a similar environment as its 2017 prequel, The Forest. But it is filled with additional threats, immersive environments, new weapons, tools, and many other things.

Making and using the Printed Sled in Sons of the Forest

The Printed Sled is most useful for going downhill. The sled is especially useful in winter when the snow is thick and can be used to glide around the forest, avoiding any obstacles like small pebbles.

Use a 3D printer to create a cave.
The printer will require a resin quantity of 1000 ml.
Scroll down and choose Printed Sled from all the options.
To start printing, press the “E”, button on your keyboard.
Wait for the printing to finish and then collect the sled.

It will take 1000ml resin to make the sled and it will take 20 seconds for it to be made.
